Resources for the Welsh 3000s Challenge

Welsh Three Thousand Foot Challenges book A detailed and inspiring guide to the Welsh 3000s and other Welsh mountain challenges, written by fell runners Roy Clayton and Ronald Turnbull
14 Peaks website Very interesting Welsh 3000s site, developed by the Snowdonia Society. It is possible to add details and an account of your own personal attempt.
Downloadable GPS files (summit waypoints) Files containing summit waypoints are available for download in multiple formats.
A full Welsh 3000s route track log is also available, but this deviates from my ideal route in a few places (Tryfan's descent in particular).
NB: It's important not to rely entirely on a GPS. Good map and compass skills are essential.
Summit Grid References Ten figure grid references for each summit. (Scroll down past map.)
Welsh 3000s record breaking run (video) Footage of Colin Donnelly's 1988 immense achievement!
