The walk will be a great deal easier if you can familiarise yourself with the route. Ideally you could do this through three training walks – the Snowdon, Glyder and Carnedd sections of the walk . However, walks that are not circular are often not practical. I have therefore included five circular walks that cover the full length of the Welsh 3000s.

If you can arrange transport at the end-point, the best option is to complete this section in one walk. If this is not possible, here are two circular walks:
